Anjuna Beach
Anjuna Beach is located in to the southern side of the village. It is a real happening place with much number of eating joints, restaurants and bars. Anjuna is among the most beautiful beaches that you will see in Goa. It is an ultimate destination to have a scintillating sunbath and other entertaining activities. Calangute Beach
Calangute is a vast and sandy beach that stretches out far off to Candolim. It offers excellent opportunities for sunbath and swimming. Sea is seen to be somewhat rough here. Swimming is not recommended at the time of the afternoon. It is an eventful and not so peaceful beach. You can see kids playing football or cyclists having a spin on the sand and so many sellers selling their unique lot. Buy the Goan handicrafts at a low price from the roaming sellers.
Candolim Beach
In the connecting link from the Calangute Beach, Candolim beach is a fairly busy beach. There are lots of wandering sellers and massagers offering the tourists massages. Want some adventure in your vacations? Enjoy a variety of sports activities on the beach, such as parasailing and water skiing. Candolim beach also offers good quality of eating joints and hotel resorts.
Dona Paula Beach
About seven kilometers away from Panaji, the Dona Paula Beach is a picturesque setting. The beach is named after Dona Paula de Menezes in the colonial period. In the modern India, it is also famous as the Lovers Paradise. You can see many young couple spending off their romantic moments here. It gets the visitors a hunky-dory view of the Mormugao Harbour and the Zuari River. It is a rustic spot to sunbathe and just relax. You can have a water scooter ride on the beach or can do your bit of adventurous water sports. Also see the Dona Paula Bay where the two famous rivers of Goa meet the Arabian sea.
Vagator Beach
Adjacent to the famous Anjuna beach of Goa, Vagator beach can be seen as a little more peaceful one. It is among those beaches that are quite much immersed in the rave and rambling Goan culture. It has a great number of happening places: Nine Bar, Primrose, and Disco Valley, to name a few. Vagator is privillegd to offer the tourists 24 hour restaurants, public convenience stores and chill out places. Enjoy shopping in the flea market that is set up here every Wednesday.
Basilica Of Bom Jesus
Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa is dedicated to the infant Jesus. Built in 1605, it is famous as an important pilgrimage point throughout the Roman Catholic world. Its history is as interesting and rich as is its beautiful architecture. Declared as a World Heritage Monument, the Basilica of Bom Jesus houses the holy sacrament and the remais of St. francis Xavier. It is a must visit in Goa.
Se Cathedral
The Se Cathedral, dedicated to St. Catherine, is the largest church of Goa and perhaps the whole Asia. Its original building was constructed on 25th November 1510 with mud, stones and straw. It is dedicated to St. Catherine because it was on the St. Catherine's day that Alphonso de Albuquerque won over Goa. The church has about 14 altars, 5 bells, 80 meters long aisle. It also houses the famous golden bell.
Church of St. Alex
Among the beautiful Goa churches, this church has two towers and a splendid dome. It is the church of Goa that displays the magnificent beauty of its architectural style and ornated altars.
Ries Magos Church
Built in 1555, it is also famous with the name of the Three Magi Kings. It was once the mission center of the Franciscan Order of Monks. It has also been the official residence of the Portuguese dignitaries in the colonial period. It offers the tourists a lot of beautiful things to see and admire.
Brahma Temple
One of the principal temples in Goa is the Brahma Temple in the village of Brahma Carambolim. Dating from 5 AD, it is one of the few temples dedicated to Brahma to be found anywhere.
Shri Bhagavati Temple
The Shri Bhagavati Temple in Pernem celebrates the Goddess Bhagavati Ashtabhuja, or eight-handed Goddess, one of the forms of Durga.
Shri Datta Mandir
Shri Datta Mandir at Sanquelim is known for the miraculous cure for mental troubles, which the deity, the Hindu Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar, is said to offer.
Shri Damodar Temple
Shri Damodar Temple on the banks of the river Kushavati is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Christians alike. The waters of the river near the temple precincts are a cure for all ailments. Shri Damodar is known simply as Danubab by the faithful and he is, till today, the patron deity of Margao. The idyllic surroundings of Zambaulin make the visit quite memorable.
Shri Chandreshwar Temple
The Shri Chandreshwar Temple atop the Chandranath Hill dates from the pre-Christian era, when this region formed part of the Boja capital of Chandrapur today's Chandor). The famous Shiva Linga is lit up by moonlight on the full moon night, and is said to become mystically bathed in water. Sri Chandreshwar or God of the Moon is so placed so to offer the visitor a wonderful view of the green valley below.
Devaki-Krishna Temple
Like many of Goa's temples, the Devaki-Krishna Temple at Marchel was moved here from two previous locations, to be safe from oppression. The beautiful and unusual image in black stone is of the baby Krishna on his mother, Devaki's hip. Could the Baby Jesus and his Mother, Mary, represented in so many of the neighboring churches here have given this temple its inspiration, or is it simply an astonishing coincidence of the overlapping of Western and Eastern traditions?
Shri Gomanteshwar Temple
Shri Gomanteshwar Temple at Brahmapuri, in old Goa, dates back to the Kadamba Kings who ruled Goa in the 5th century AD.

Mahalaxmi is the Goddess of power and strength. This is a scared place of worship of the Hindus in Goa.
Mangeshi Temple
This is one of the most popular temples of Goa. Legend has it that Lord Brahma himself consecrated the Linga that is worshipped here.
Arvalam Waterfalls
Arvalem waterfall with an altitude of 70 feet is located at Arvalem, about 2 km from Sanquelim and 8 km from Bicholim, in Valpoi taluka, North Goa. It falls in a straight drop and is in its highest glory during the monsoon season.
The fall looks stunning with the thunderous gush of water cascading down the rocky terrain of the mountain behind it.
The monsoon rain roils the water of this waterfall into a muddy brown color. In the vicinity of this picturesque site is the 5th century Rock Cut caves called the "Aravalem Caves" and Shree Rudreshwar Temple.
Dudhsagar Waterfalls
Dudhsagar Waterfalls- springing from from a lofty height of 600m is located on the Goa-Karnataka border. It lies at a distance of 60 km from Panaji and 10 km from Colem Railway Station. The name of this waterfall evolves from the Konkani name for the falls, Dudhsagar meaning ‘sea of milk’. This is because froth is formed due to the speedy surge of water from the majestic heights. The fall looks stunning post monsoon as it ripples with bubbling foam-like water. The Dudhsagar Falls is one of the most interesting falls of India and the largest and highest fall of Goa. Kesarval Waterfall
Kesarval Spring is situated 22 km away from Panaji on Verna plateau off the Panaji-Margao highway. The spring is surrounded by tropical woodlands and swaying betel palms and emerges from the hard rocks.
